General Information
The department activities include all areas related to processing and usage of wood, from traditional crafts to Industry 4.0. During the development of new materials, methods and technology the department staff apply the latest and most advanced scientific discoveries, yet don’t shy away from utilizing historically proven experience. The key projects are executed in cooperation with institutions from abroad but also with Czech and multinational companies thanks mainly to TAČR, GAČR, Interred Europe, Horizon Europe and NAKI grants.
