On 21st – 25th June 2021, Global Change Research Institute CAS – CzechGlobe organizes the international conference called 6th FORUM CARPATICUM – Linking the Environmental, Political and Societal Aspects for Carpathian Sustainability, which will be held in the conference premises of Mendel University in Brno. FORUM CARPATICUM is an open meeting of the Science for the Carpathians initiative (S4C), which brings together scientists from Central Europe, defines research priorities for the region, offers solutions applicable to regional policies and develops international cooperation with partners outside the “Carpathian region”.
The format of the conference will be adapted to the Covid-19 situation at the time, we will be prepared for a “hybrid meeting” with both physical and virtual participants.
The conference will focus on climate research, nature conservation, sustainable use of natural resources, human and environmental interaction as well as education for sustainable development.
