Our research focuses on the relationships between organisms and the environment and the effects of human impact.

  • From the roots to the sky That’s how broad our scope is
  • We publish our results in prestigious scientific journals
  • We are members of international monitoring networks
  • Our laboratories and field stations provide all the facilities necessary for our research

The following laboratories are currently managed by the Department:

Primary Production Laboratory

The Primary Production Laboratory provide technical facilities required by students of Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral programmes to complete their final theses. The laboratory is primarily used for the processing of plant biomass samples (e.g. needles, leaves, roots).

Mgr. Ing. Tamara Wijacki, Ph.D.
Secondary Production Laboratory
